A British Classic Reimagined: Rhubarb & Custard

Took a punt on these because I love the whole "British classic" idea, and the custard note comes through so creamy against that sharp rhubarb kick. The texture is properly chewy without sticking to your teeth, which is exactly what I want from a gourmet sweet. Gone through half the bag already.

The rhubarb flavor is properly tart, not watered down, and the custard note balances it perfectly—they taste like the real thing, not some artificial candy version. I bought two bags and honestly might need to order a third before they sell out.
