Rhubarb & Custard 🥧🍮🇬🇧
The classic combo of rhubarb and custard is back — and it’s had a gourmet glow-up. Nostalgia never tasted so good.
Took a punt on these because rhubarb and custard is my all-time sweet shop memory, and they don't disappoint—the sour tang actually cuts through the creamy finish instead of just being sugar. The bag's gone in two sittings, which says everything.
The rhubarb and custard combo is spot on—the creamy sweetness balances the tartness perfectly, and the texture is that same chewy bite I love. You can tell they put real thought into reimagining a classic rather than just slapping a new label on it.
Took a punt on these because I love the whole "British classic" idea, and the custard note comes through so creamy against that sharp rhubarb kick. The texture is properly chewy without sticking to your teeth, which is exactly what I want from a gourmet sweet. Gone through half the bag already.
